Kind Gala

VNHelp & Hope for Viet Orphans organized KIND Gala, a black-tie benefit night on Nov 14th. All proceeds will go toward programs that assist Kids In Need to reach their Dreams (KIND). See photos here.

The “Vision for the poor” program performs free surgeries & post-op care for cataract patients. The program  has helped thousands of poor people in all over Vietnam regain their vision. See photos here.


Now that Mùa Thu Cho Em #21 concert series has been officially wrapped up, we would like to send a big thank you to all of you who helped make the concerts a tremendous success. With all your help, we raised $123,000 in net proceeds. Cám ơn! Thank you! More information here.


In 2014, 209 women in Hop Hoa Village, Tam Duong District, Vinh Phuc Province took out small loans from VNHELP’s micro-finance program. Check out some successful case stories and please join us to make a change for poor women in Vietnam.

Kindergarten Nghĩa Đồng in Nghĩa Hưng District, Nam Định Province was finished constructing in 08/2015. The construction is funded by Helen & Antoine Duong with a matching fund from VNHELP. See photos here.


A restaurant sponsored by VNHELP was opened at the Kien Giang Vocational College in 03/2014 to serve students from low-income family. The restaurant opens 5 days a week. Each day it serves 300 meals and students pay only 2,000 VND (about 10 cents) for a meal. See photos here.

To date, VNHELP has finished 6 motorbike training courses. More than 200 youths have completed our  training and are able to make a living by providing the motorbike repair service. View the project highlights on our blog! Part I | Part II
