Grand opening kindergarten Hoa Mi, Kontum (December 2010) A brand new beautiful kindergarten was built in the Vietnamese national standard, with four classrooms, a kitchen, multi-function room, and offices. The school was fully furnished and will serve 150 kindergarteners in Tran Hung Dao commune.

Grand opening school Le Trong Nhi, Thanh Hoa (December 2010) A 90-year-old elementary school was restored and became a new school for 250 students. The original architecture of the five-classroom school was kept to retain the history. Additionally, an office area with five rooms was built.

Clean Water for the Poor, Tien Giang (November 2011) Five hundred and twenty (520) households were connected to clean water sources. The beneficiaries now have running water in their home.

Disaster Relief, Quang Tri & Ha Tinh & Quang Ngai A new kitchen and lunch room for kindergarten Bich La Dong (in the flooded area of Quang Tri) were built to help the school get back to their normal daily activities by the new school year in September. A relief trip to Ha Tinh in November helped 500 families with relief packages including food, blanket, mosquito net, and cash. Compassion homes were built and handed over to eight selected families in Quang Ngai flooded area in December.

Scholarship Distribution, Ha Noi & Saigon Fifty college students in Ha Noi and 120 students in Saigon received a scholarship from VNHELP. Seventy of these students were also selected to continue receiving the scholarship until they graduate from college.
