Thuong Clinic, Da Nang

Beginning in 2002, VNHELP supports Phu Thuong Clinic, located
in the suburb of Quang Nam province in Central Viet Nam. The clinic is run by the Catholic nuns of the St. Paul Order to serve the underprivileged.
Phu Thuong clinic serves about 70 patients per day. Most patients pay a very modest fee which is very affordable by poor people, while some people who are known for having extremely difficult financial condition receive free health care service. In 2004, VNHELP decides to increase our funds to the clinic in order to enable %100 free prenatal care, baby delivery, postnatal care, and newborn care. With the VNHELP fund, Phu Thuong Clinic can provide the following health care services:
- Medical examinations and medicines to remote villagers and
Underserved people who come to the clinic
- Eye treatment and eye care
- Treatment for malnutrition children
- Free prenatal care, baby delivery, newborn care
- Free transportation of critical patients to city hospital
