Our musical guests include a wonderful line-up of performers to keep you entertained and inspired!
Our special treat this year is the legendary Elvis Phương. With his charm, charisma, enthralling voice, and vast repertoire of all-time favorites sung in French, English, and of course, Vietnamese. Our own Elvis is going to woo the audience and bring down the hall. Elvis started singing in public way back in 1962, at Regina Pacis in Saigon, was part of several bands including the famous “Phượng Hoàng” in the 70s, and kept on performing once he arrived in the US. He is now back living in Vietnam and has kept audiences cheering and dancing to his music ever since. Come listen to his famous love ballads and beat a rhythm to his modern melodies too.
Hà Anh Tuấn
Hà Anh Tuấn always has a twinkle in his eyes, a smile on his face, and a booming voice that projects, unassisted, to the far corners of any auditorium. This young performer made his debut in 2006 in Vietnam, when he won a prestigious prize at the Sao Mai Điểm Hẹn competition. He started performing professionally after that, reaching out to voice coaches, music producers, songwriters, and other professionals to help hone his craft. On stage, his engaging manners, heartfelt singing, and sheer force of character always endear him to audiences. Due to a popular request, Hà Anh Tuấn is returning to perform in Mùa Thu Cho Em for the third time. He’s a performer who’s very hard to book, so do not miss out on this occasion to hear Hà Anh Tuấn in person.
Tam Ca Áo Trắng
Tam Ca Áo Trắng is three actual sisters – the eldest, Tuyết Ngân, and the twin siblings Minh Tú and Minh Thư. Tuyết Ngân is the main vocalist, Minh Thư has the soprano voice while Minh Tú has the bass and tenor. The sisters were a wildly popular group in Vietnam in the 90s, after winning the First Prize on the Saigon Singing Contest radio show. Tam Ca Áo Trắng quickly developed a loving and devoted following thanks to their youthful performance style and their simple, yet elegant and beautiful voices. They haven’t performed together for many years, but now reunite for this special VNHelp anniversary concert, so reserve your seat early to catch them on stage!
Thương Linh wields a deep, powerful, and unique voice, yet her performances often expose her emotions, her soul and life stories. She was the only female contestant who entered the final round of VSTAR 2013, a vigorous singing competition by Thuy Nga Production. After this event, she has become a rising star who performs with all her heart, in an instinctive but also very sophisticated way, without artifice. Hailing from SoCAL, Thương Linh excels in several different genres including Pop, Blues, Jazz, Classical or Semi Classical, and of course, Rock. Such a vocal range allows her to interpret many songs in new and creative ways. Come see this young, talented newcomer hold her own on the Mùa Thu Cho Em stage with stars from another era!
